Patricia Hawkins

Representing: Western North Carolina

Ms. Hawkins graduated from the University of Maryland in 1976 with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.  She worked for the Charles County Health Department in La Plata, Maryland for two years as a Sanitarian.  Since 1993, she has worked for the Transylvania County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist.   

Ms. Hawkins is a member of the National Environmental Health Association and a member and past officer of the Environmental Health Sections of the Western North Carolina Public Health and the North Carolina Public Health Associations. 

Ms. Hawkins currently serves as the Chair to the Board.
